FAQ'S
I trust in God. I love my country and will respect its laws. I will play fair and strive to win. But win or lose I will always do my best.
Don't miss the opportunity to attend the annual Little League Angel Day on Sunday, April 11th. Players, coaches and team parents will be able to parade the field before the game. Bring the whole family and your friends -- those unable to parade will be able to enter the stadium and take pictures of the GHLL teams as they walk the field. This year, the Angels take on the Oakland Athletics in their first weekend of regular season home games. It's also Family Sunday, which means lots of activities in the Family Picnic Zone. Remaining tickets are all in Left Field Pavilion and only $18/each. For more information, contact your team parent, or the ticket sales coordinator, Bonnie Clanin (ghllbonnie@live.com).
The Board of Directors of Golden Hill Little League will be undergoing a major change in the next year. We have at least four (4) current board members retiring (almost 1/3) and we need to fill their vacancies. The board term is for two years and candidates will serve in the 2011 and 2012 seasons. We prefer candidates that do not intend to manage or coach a team and baseball experience is not a necessity! Serving on the board is similar to running a business. You will gain insight into the league, you will take part in forming new policy, and most importantly, you will have the opportunity to give back to the league that serves your family. Please contact president Kurt Blodgett for additional information or to advise your candidacy. Kurt can be reached via e-mail atkurt.blodgett@ghll.netor by calling him at (714)738-0197. The current board wants GHLL to shine well into the future and to carry on the traditions that have been set forth.

Little League baseball, which began in 1939, now has over 2.5 million children participating in all 50 states. Organized sports teach kids teamwork and self-esteem, and give some kids a lifelong passion. Baseball, more than any other sport, allows for the opportunity for even the weakest participants to be in a position to win a big game for his or her team. These are memories people never forget. Parents, enjoy it all! Soon enough our kids will be grown and all that we will be left with is the memory of a sunny Saturday afternoon at the park with hundreds of kids in their baseball uniforms beaming with excitement and having the time of their lives! If you would like to volunteer and be a part of Golden Hill Little League, we have many positions available. Your child's team needs volunteers, and the league needs volunteers and our concession stands need volunteers. Thank you to everyone involved with Golden Hill Little League for making this a wonderful time!
