2012 Registration

 

GHBOA is not just a youth umpire program anymore. We are a full service umpire association with very experienced adult umpires certified to umpire all of our levels. Although we still have the youth umpire program the changes in Little League rules have forced us to re-structure the program. What we're looking for: Committed and serious candidates that view this position as a real job with all the requirements that come with the responsibilities.

Over 18 Years old Applications

 We are looking for experienced umpires to work games for our AA, AAA and Majors Divisions. Please download the GHBOA Umpire Application and get it back to our Umpire-In-Chief Steve Byrens (steve.byrens@ghll.net) or call him if you have questions (714-476-4575).

 

  • Deadline for applications is Feb 4, 2012.
  • Please provide references for your umpire experience (Associations you have worked for, Leagues you have worked for, UIC’s that know your work).
  • You will need to attend our Umpire Clinic in Feb 2012 (2/12/2012).
  • Having your own umpire equipment is preferred.
 

Between the ages 13-17

 

We have a limited number of openings for youth umpires to work games for our Rookie and A Divisions.

  •  Deadline for applications is Saturday Feb 4, 2012
  • You will need to attend our Umpire Clinic in Feb 2012 (2/12/2012, 9a-1:30p) and attend rules classes.
  •  You will need to pass a baseball rules test
