For a child to be a Little Leaguer®, eligibility must first be established by way of residency inside the boundaries of a local Little League®, or the location of the school where the child attends is located inside a local league’s boundaries. The purpose of league boundaries is to establish and maintain parity in the Little League program. At its core, Little League Baseball is a community-based program that offers equal opportunity to all children within their given neighborhood or community.
AM I ELIGIBLE TO PLAY WITHIN GOLDEN HILL LITTLE LEAGUE?
In order to play in Golden Hill Little League, you must qualify in one of the following ways :
1. Your residence is within the Golden Hill boundaries. To check your address, use the LITTLE LEAGUE FINDER tool
2. You attend a school within the Golden Hill boundaries. Public schools include - Golden Hill, Beechwood, Rolling Hills, Laguna Road, Hermosa, Sunset Lane, & Parks Junior High.
*if you are enrolled in a private school, please check the address of your school on the link in #1
3. A sibling , regardless of their residence or current school, of a child who attends one of the 7 schools noted above and currently plays for Golden Hill.
4. You have moved to a new home or school, BUT played in Golden Hill Spring Season last year. As such, you remain eligible to play in Golden Hill.
5. If you do not qualify to play at Golden Hill based on the above criteria, AND have a justifiable reason or hardship, you may have options. Please email info@ghll.net so we can provide you with more information.
While you may reside outside the boundaries of GHLL, if your child or a sibling of a child attends any of the following schools - they are eligible to play in Golden Hill Little League :
Golden Hill Elementary / Beechwood Elementary / Hermosa Drive Elementary / Rolling Hills Elementary / Laguna Road Elementary / Sunset Lane Elementary / Parks Junior High
