2023 GOLDEN HILL 9U FUTURE STARS

The Golden Hill 9U Future Stars program is for AA & AAA players who are League Age 8 & 9.

Tentative 2023 Schedule :

• Application deadline to be considered is 6/02
• Selected players evaluations @ Unocal is 6/10 (if necessary)
• Final roster(s) selection and announcement is 6/11
• Official Practices may begin on 6/12
• Future Stars Tournament : 7/8 - 7/22

These teams are by selection only. Future Stars coaches select teams based on feedback from Spring coaches, Future Stars Committee, and their own knowledge. As its possible that AAA & AA players are required on the same team, Future Star coaches have the right to hold an evaluation to assess potential players they did not coach against in the regular season.

While it is a great honor to be selected as a member of a Future Stars team, there is also a substantial commitment of time and effort required in order to have a successful tournament. The Future Stars time commitment consists of 3-4 practices a week for up to 2 hours beginning June 12th and then participation in the District 56 Future Stars tournaments beginning July 8th and running for about 14 days.

Golden Hill understands that players will be vacationing, participating in camps, or just enjoying their summer. While All-Stars is more stringent about missing activities, Future Stars is a bit more loose. However, availability for tournament is a must.

BREA LITTLE LEAGUE WILL SERVE AS HOST FOR THE 2023 FUTURE STARS TOURNAMENT.
