What to bring to player evaluations : Glove, Helmet, & Bat (USA stamped, Little League approved).
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING TRYOUTS
PLAYERS MUST APPEAR PERSONALLY AT THE CHECK-IN PRIOR TO GOING ON FIELD. CHECK-IN TABLE IS LOCATED ON PAVILION TO RIGHT (NEXT TO FSC2) AT BOTTOM PARKING LOT OF FSC
PLAYERS MUST ATTEND AT TIME SLOTS GIVEN.
PLAYERS SHOULD BRING A BAT AND GLOVE. BRINGING YOUR OWN HELMET IS PREFERRED. PLAYERS SHOULD WEAR ATHLETIC ATTIRE. CLEATS ARE SUGGESTED.
**ALL PLAYERS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND PLAYER EVALUATIONS
All draft eligible players will go through the following :
Outfield : 3 pop flies in LF position and throws to 2nd base
Infield : 3 grounders in SS position and throws to 1st base
Batting : 3 pitches from a pitching machine (speed varies by age). Last pitch, player will run the bases after swing- regardless if ball is put in play.
***Players need a baseball glove, LL approved bat (USA stamped), and helmet. Athletic attire and cleats are advised ***
1. All draft eligible players are placed on teams via a draft
2. Draft eligible players are not allowed to request a division to play in. Draft determines placement
3. Must draft situations : LL Ages 13-15 must be selected in Juniors, LL Age 12 must be selected in Majors, LL Age 11 cannot be drafted below AAA, LL Age 10 cannot be drafted below AA, LL Age 9 cannot be drafted below A, LL Age 8 cannot be drafted below Rookie.
**In some cases, LL Age 6s & 7s will not be drafted into Rookie and will be assigned to T-Ball. These players will receive a refund for the difference paid between T-Ball and the upper divisions.
4. It is possible that players could be drafted into a division that they played in a previous year.
Rookie thru Juniors Drafts are scheduled to be completed by Saturday 1/20* and the manager of your team will be contacting you by Tuesday 1/23 to inform you of team information and practice schedule.
T-Ball team formation will be completed by 2/01 and your manager will contact you with shortly thereafter.
*Schedules may be impacted by weather.
