Golden Hill Baseball – Where Fullerton’s Baseball Future Begins
Golden Hill Baseball: Where Fullerton’s Baseball Legacy Begins
For nearly 70 years, Golden Hill Baseball has been more than just a youth league — it’s been the foundation of Fullerton’s proud baseball tradition. Since 1956, our fields have launched the journeys of thousands of young athletes who would go on to shine at local high schools, elite college programs, and even Major League Baseball.
Fullerton is a city steeped in baseball excellence — home to legends like Walter Johnson, Gary Carter, and Tommy Lasorda, and the only city in California with four high school alumni to throw no-hitters in the big leagues. The city has hosted MLB Spring Training, Pacific Coast League games, and boasts championship-winning programs at every level: Cal State Fullerton’s four NCAA titles, Fullerton College’s state and national championships, Hope International’s NAIA World Series victory, and Golden Hill's Junior Division World Series.
But behind those achievements is a starting point — and for many, that start was Golden Hill. In fact, one of our proud alumni, Philadelphia Phillies infielder Otto Kemp, is currently in his rookie season after beginning his baseball journey on Golden Hill fields and advancing to the professional ranks.
Our league has served as the first step for players who would later become CIF champions, college All-Americans, MLB draft picks, and Hall of Famers. And just as importantly, it’s been the place where thousands more found confidence, friendship, and a lifelong love for the game.
With year-round programming — including Spring League, Summer All-Stars, and Fall Developmental Ball — we provide high-quality, affordable baseball for kids from preschool through 9th grade. Whether you're chasing a dream or just chasing a ground ball with friends, Golden Hill is where Fullerton’s baseball future takes shape.
From sandlots to stadiums, the Fullerton baseball journey starts here — and always has.
From barnstorming games and spring training fields to College World Series glory and Hall of Fame greatness, Fullerton’s baseball story is one of legacy, passion, and generational impact. And through it all, Golden Hill Baseball has stood proudly as a foundational piece—building champions on and off the field and honoring the city's unmatched love for the game.
Founded in 1956, Golden Hill Baseball is one of California’s most respected youth baseball programs, rooted in the heart of Fullerton, a city with deep baseball heritage. For nearly 70 years, we’ve been more than just a league — we’ve been a community cornerstone, shaping generations of ballplayers from Preschool through 9th grade.
Our mission is simple but powerful: to deliver an exceptional baseball experience for every child — from aspiring pros to those simply playing for the love of the game. We believe great baseball doesn’t require expensive travel or exclusive clubs. That’s why we offer affordable, high-quality programming year-round, including Spring League, Summer All-Stars, Fall Select, and our Developmental Fall League.
Golden Hill has produced players who’ve gone on to shine at local high schools, elite college programs, and even Major League Baseball. But our true legacy is the thousands of young athletes who’ve grown in confidence, character, and community on our fields.
At Golden Hill, we blend competition with inclusion, athletic growth with lifelong friendships, and tradition with opportunity. We’re proud to be where dreams take shape, skills take flight, and Fullerton’s baseball future begins.
